Studios Papazoglou is located on the village of N. Pyrgos, in northern Evia on the way to Oraious (12th Street). Accomodation is just 100m away from the beach of Neos Pyrgos and is the ideal holiday destination either for a family or a group of friends.
Very close to a super market, beach bar, taverns and sports facilities (football-basketball-beach volleyball field), while at a distance of 100m there is a playground for our little guests.

Neos Pyrgos - Northern Evia
Neos Pyrgos is located in North Evia and is built along a vast and beautiful sandy beach. It is a traditional fishing village, created by refugees from Constantinople. It is 1 kilometer from the historic city of Oreos, just 9 kilometers from the Baths of Edipsos with its famous thermal springs, while the city of Istiaia is only 5 kilometers away.
With easy access – just 2.5 hours from Athens – North Evia has immense natural beauty, combining mountain and sea and is the ideal destination for both short getaways and long-term relaxing holidays. It has a lot to show, its rich history, archaeological finds, beautiful vegetation that touches the blue waters on crystal clear beaches, rare mountain landscapes, waterfalls, devout stops at historical monasteries, beautiful routes by car and on foot. North Evia, unaffected by mass tourism, is an ideal destination for conscious travelers like you.
Neos Pyrgos is a unique tourist destination, where the blue of the sea is perfectly combined with the imposing presence of the mountain. The beach is sandy and with fine pebbles while the sea water deepens gradually and smoothly, making the swimming experience pleasant and safe for both adults and children.
On the beach you will also find all kinds of taverns, ouzo bars and restaurants with traditional cuisine, and mainly fresh fish and seafood for which the area is famous.
The village itself is also beautiful, as it has been built with impeccable street planning and visitors can enjoy strolling through the picturesque alleys.
West of Neos Pyrgos is Nisiotissa, a small, beautiful natural beach. There, a few dozen meters from the shore, is a small rocky islet on which the ruins of a Medieval Tower are preserved.
In the area of Neos Pyrgos you will find a fig production cooperative where you can taste wonderful and genuine local products such as fig jam.
A particular point of interest in the area is the Taurus of Oreos. This is an exquisite massive sculpture, which is currently exhibited in a glass dome behind the temple of Sotiros, near the port of Oreos and within walking distance of Neos Pyrgos.
Every summer, the Municipality and local associations organize several cultural events and entertainment evenings. The highlight is the three-day festival during the feast of the Virgin Mary on August 15th.
How Getting to Neos Pyrgos
If you are coming from Athens, we suggest you to follow the highway route through Αrkitsa with the ferry-boat (at the 150th Km of the National Highway from Athens to Lamia). Alternatively you can come through Chalkida by car (a distance of ca. 230 Km.) where you can enjoy a wonderful drive through mountains full of forests and green valleys.
If you are coming from Northern or Central Greece, we suggest you to come through the port of Glyfa with the ferry-boat (90th Km on the Highway from Larissa to Athens).
